The Britweb team at Christmas

As the title suggests, it’s been a wonderful 12 months here at ‘BritWeb Towers’; we’ve grown our team with the addition of new staff members alongside some fantastic new clients and campaigns for us all to get engaged with and work alongside to generate success!

Our continued growth, coupled with the explosion of enquiries, isn’t just testament to our own expansion but also shows that the UK in general is on an economic up turn, which is great to see. I’ve noticed a marked increase in start ups coming to us with innovative ideas and with budgets to match, it’s both exciting and humbling to be asked to help drive these businesses with their digital requirements.

Notable inclusions in 2015 is our work alongside Horsham council with the Piazza Italia site, more sites for the Girl Guiding Association and also a new site for the British Kite Sports Association. We’ve also worked on some large e-commerce Magento stores, including one rebuild and a subsequent SEO campaign that has seen huge positive results; just see the resulting testimonial:

‘Since the user experience (UX) audit findings were implemented (25th July), conversion rate has increased by 8.37%, transactions are up by 24.5%, average order value is up by 7.26% and revenue is up by 34%…’

It’s these kinds of results that really make us feel like we’re making a big difference and it’s great to see our efforts take tangible effects and adding to client’s bottom lines!

As well as mentioning these new clients, my post would not be complete without talking over our own internal growth. January saw Carl Sadecki join us and his calming influence and extensive industry background means we have improved workflow management into a slick process and are able to offer paid search to our offerings to make us a full service digital agency.  Other additions Emma Humphrey and Frances Atkins have also improved the team, both coming with strong marketing backgrounds. They have fitted in quickly and perfectly into a well rounded and ambitious group that continue to surprise me with just how well they combine together and use their obvious talent and hard work ethics to create great sites and campaigns for our treasured client base.

I’ll round off by mentioning the office ref-fit we’re having during the Christmas period. Out with the old and in with new desks, chairs, phone system and more – bringing a fresher and more professional feel to our work environment as we move into 2016 – a year which I have no doubt will bring more success to both my team and those we work with in the digital world.  We also plan an update to our own site (you must always practice what you preach!) and will shortly release our client portal for support clients to use for information on security updates, industry news and more.

Finally, I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We hope to speak with you all next year!
