Our website development team built a fully responsive ecommerce/brochure hybrid website to improve user experience.
Client details
For over 50 years Seward and their range of Stomacher blenders, bags and accessories have been providing innovative solutions in sample preparation for Food Microbiology, Life Sciences, Environmental and Industrial sectors. Seward and their products are globally referenced for thousands of protocols and ISO methods from food testing to industrial applications.
We have been working with Seward since 2017 following their merger with the FermionX Manufacturing group.
The challenge
Seward were looking at ways in which to show their extensive range of products and importantly related products in a user friendly way.
They required a website to showcase industry sectors they work with whilst continuing to uphold the globally recognised Seward branding. Celebrating an impressive 50 years in business was also a factor to be included.
Our solution
The britweb team worked closely with Seward to design, build and launch an aesthetically pleasing website with user experience at the forefront of design. Listening to the needs of our client enabled us to recognise that an ecommerce/ brochure hybrid site would be the perfect fit.
Our weekly meetings were paramount to the success of this project where we:
- Got a real understanding of the Sewards product range
- Understood the importance of showcasing not only the products and related products but also the supporting literature around those
- Worked closely with Seward at the design stage to ensure a successful site build
We identified potential users and created clear user journeys from the new homepage. We also increased functionality of the site to include calculators to encourage users to interact with product pages
The results
Seward is now a fully responsive, fully informative products based website set up.
to ensure future success in SEO and Digital Marketing. We are pleased to be providing ongoing digital marketing services from 2023 and can’t wait to see the gains this gives Seward.
