Boxfit are the UK’s largest supplier of boxing equipment, with a brick and mortar store in Essex and a worldwide ecommerce website.

When they approached Britweb, the company wanted to improve their visibility online and increase sales from their website.

The Challenge

We were initially employed by Boxfit to increase their visibility on search, and drive more traffic to their website. Our SEO services offered them some successes, but it became obvious that their website was holding the campaign back as it had a slow page-speed load and was unresponsive, meaning they were missing out considerably on mobile traffic. In 2017, we rebuilt their website and integrated it with their EPOS system so that they could manage their stock control through a central system.

Our Solution

Integrating with Boxfit’s EPOS system required considerable R&D and bespoke coding to ensure it met all of their requirements and would be easy for their inhouse team to manage. The website was visually impactful, fast and responsive and has been a benchmark for many competitors since launch. To ensure the brand continued to grow, we also took on their social media and email marketing to provide a holistic marketing approach, tying up each area of the business to drive the brand forward.

The Results

Stats December 2018:

Boxfit have seen revenue increased by 61% year on year for their most popular month, with traffic to the website increased by 52% for this period.

The site has seen a 60% increase in mobile traffic since it was made responsive.

Organic traffic has achieved a 48% increase, and social media saw a huge 553% increase in traffic to the website.
